Scholarship FAQ:

How do I apply for the scholarship?

This process normally happens during purchase of an annual membership. By clicking the box by the question asking if you would like financial assistance, the system generates a form which becomes available under the Documents & Forms tab of your parent portal. However, you can also generate the form manually. Go to the Update Your Profile tab in your parent portal, select your child's name in the first drop down, then Financial Assistance Application option in the second drop down. 

What do I need?

To determine scholarship eligibility, we require a copy of your most recent tax return. We use this to see your adjusted gross income for the previous year. We do not accept pay stubs or W-2s as proof of income barring special circumstances determined by our senior leadership.

How are scholarships determined?

We look at two things when determining scholarship: your family's household size (based on information you give while purchasing an annual membership) and your adjusted gross income. Below is a chart of our scholarship guidelines.

What will my scholarship cover?

Scholarships provide a discount on Before and After School programs and Summer programs. Services such as In-service days and Winter/Spring Break are not covered by scholarships.

When and how will I hear about my application?

We do our best to get back to you within 7-10 days on new applications. However, peak times such as Fall, Spring, or Summer registrations can cause a delay in this due to the volume of applicants. You will be contacted via email concerning your application, whether we need you to provide more information or we have determined your eligibility. 

How does payment work if I'm waiting to hear about my scholarship?

If you are applying for financial assistance and needing to register your children, you have the option to choose Pay at Club when signing up for your membership or programs. This option will apply the balance of the purchase to your household account, ensuring your children are enrolled correctly and allowing time for scholarships or waivers to be applied. Your child IS allowed to attend club activities, even if you are waiting to finalize your scholarship and payment.
